During the rainy season I cannot help desiring to provide them housing in bird cages free from roaming cats and mongoose; yet it is easy for me to feed them with the usual dried cooked rice.
I keep on prodding my neighbors to plant more deep-rooted trees by planting the seeds in a cubicle in the ground specially dug to provide a deep-rooted tree with space and protection from the elements.
I more or less know what their reply will be: 'Aren't we too old to expect to see and enjoy the tree?'
For that very reason I want to start planting the trees and invite the village chief to do it with us.
The greening of our cities would have a big impact on our health and environment.
