Guess What?: Elba not '€˜handsome'€™ enough for 007

dris Elba says he'€™d like to be the next James Bond '€” if only he was better looking.

Inflammatory US radio host Rush Limbaugh recently railed on a Sony Pictures executive who said that she would like the 42-year-old actor to replace Daniel Craig, the current gentleman superspy.

'€œJames Bond is a total concept put together by Ian Fleming. He was white and Scottish. Period. That is who James Bond is, was,'€ Limbaugh said.

Elba, who played Stringer Bell in The Wire, appeared neither shaken nor stirred.

'€œIsn'€™t 007 supposed to be handsome? Glad you think I'€™ve got a shot!'€ Elba said on Twitter, posting a picture featuring his grizzled, unshaven face.

Meanwhile, Craig was also criticized after he was cast as Bond '€” for being blond.
