Actress Laudya Cynthia Bella says that she is going to celebrate the New Year in a different way ' by taking a minor pilgrimage (umrah) to Mecca.
'I will not work on the New Year's Day, because I will make the umrah with my sister,' the 26-year-old sinetron (local soap opera) star said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Bella, who also features in Maxima Pictures' religious romantic film Assalammualaikum Beijing (Peace Be with You, Beijing), said she wanted to do something new to ring in 2015.
'I've never been celebrating new year by doing umrah. Since I've got the chance, I want to go there,' Bella said.
