Chico Jericho was recently seen brewing java at a coffee shop in Gandaria, South Jakarta.
Chico previously took classes at the ABCD School of Coffee in Santa Market, South Jakarta, for his part in the big-screen adaptation of Dee Lestari's Filosofi Kopi (Coffee Philosophy).
'He is a very serious actor,' said producer Handoko, who accompanied Chico, who was named Best Actior by the Indonesian Film Festival in 2014, on Tuesday, as reported by tribunnews.com.
He said that Chico had already visited four plantations to learn about coffee.
Chico previously worked as an ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver and learned how to speak Tulehu for Cahaya dari Timur: Beta Maluku (Light from the East: We Are Maluku).
