57-year-old man, identified as Jan Buntaran, was found dead inside a black Innova car parked on the fourth floor of the parking garage at the Classic Hotel on Jl. KH Samanhudi in Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, in the early hours of Monday.

The police said there were no signs of violence. '€œThe victim was found at about 2 a.m. on Monday,'€ Central Jakarta Police chief detective Adj. Comr. Ari told reporters on Monday as quoted by tempo.co.

'€œHe was found with foam around his mouth, [we] suspect that he died from a drug overdose,'€ he added.

According to Ari, the victim was first found by a parking attendant. '€œThe parking attendant was alerted because it looked like someone had passed out inside a car. He approached the car and confirmed it,'€ he said, adding that the police arrived at the scene after the attendant informed them.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Jan, who was working for a Japanese company, lived in Cideng, Gambir, Central Jakarta. The body was taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital (RSCM) in Central Jakarta for further investigation. (***)
