L

aw and Human Rights Minister Yasonna H. Laoly has said that a total of 133 death-row convicts in a number of prisons in the country are awaiting their turn to be executed.

'€œWe want to give accurate information, the number of death-row convicts in various prisons is 133,'€ he said in a hearing with House of Representatives'€™ Commission III on law here on Wednesday.

He said that of the 133, 57 were drug convicts, two terrorism convicts and 74 were general-crime convicts.

Attorney General Prasetyo said on Tuesday that following the six executions on Sunday, the Attorney General'€™s Office would execute 60 more death-row convicts but he declined to mention when or where the executions would be carried out. (***)(++++)
