The nearly unanimous endorsement given by the House of Representatives to National Police chief candidate Budi Gunawan on Thursday was a strong warning for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) that it may suffer escalating de-legitimation campaigns from the graft-ridden House and the police.
Your comments:
If Budi under the current circumstances becomes the new police chief, Indonesia including our President will make itself look very ridiculous to the rest of the world.
But no one will be amazed if he is appointed. Show your teeth to Ibu Mega, Mr. President, for the well-being of our beautiful country and its people!

As the only country in the world where legislators openly defy the country's anticorruption agency, Indonesia doesn't deserve its 107th ranking (out of 175 countries) in the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index 2014. It should rank last at 175th.
