Guess what?: Dira Sugandi enjoys motherhood

AKARTA: Jazz singer Dira Sugandi says that she really enjoys her latest gig: being mother to her daughter, Savanna Azura Warongan.

'€œI still feel surprised '€” getting married and becoming a mother. God creates phases in one'€™s life, and each phase is really special. Thankfully, I really enjoy it,'€ Dira said as quoted by tempo.co.

Dira, who shared the stage with American pop star Jason Mraz at Java Jazz in Jakarta in 2009, said that she would not hire a nanny to take care of her two year old.

'€œWhenever I need to do a job, I'€™ll ask my mother to babysit or put her in daycare,'€ Dira said.
