AKARTA: Jazz singer Dira Sugandi says that she really enjoys her latest gig: being mother to her daughter, Savanna Azura Warongan.
'I still feel surprised ' getting married and becoming a mother. God creates phases in one's life, and each phase is really special. Thankfully, I really enjoy it,' Dira said as quoted by tempo.co.
Dira, who shared the stage with American pop star Jason Mraz at Java Jazz in Jakarta in 2009, said that she would not hire a nanny to take care of her two year old.
'Whenever I need to do a job, I'll ask my mother to babysit or put her in daycare,' Dira said.
