A fire destroyed a store in Bandung Indah Plaza on Wednesday at noon. No casualties were reported.
'Everyone immediately rushed out of the building,' said Yulia, 20, who worked in a store next to the gutted shop on the second floor of the shopping center.
'I and other workers used the escalator. The lifts were not working, so we scrambled downstairs using the escalator,' said Yulia.
She claimed the fire started in the ceiling. 'It seemed to be like an electrical short-circuit. The security guards tried to put out the fire,' she added. (***)
