ampa Bay star Steven Stamkos kept up his strong record against Chicago as he scored twice to lead the Lightning to a 4-0 win against the Blackhawks on Friday, closing the gap on the NHL Eastern Conference lead.

The Lightning moved within three points of East leader Montreal, and two of the New York Islanders, who regained sole leadership of the Metropolitan Division by beating Calgary.

The Los Angeles-area clash saw Anaheim come from two goals down in the third period to beat the Kings.

Tampa Bay'€™s Stamkos has 11 goals and 17 points in nine games against Chicago. Ben Bishop made 28 saves for his second shutout of the season, while Brian Boyle and Ryan Callahan also scored for the Lightning.
