State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II will begin repairs on Jl
tate-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II will begin repairs on Jl. Perimeter Utara, which is an access road from Tangerang to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, on Tuesday.
Senior general manager of the company, Bram Bharoto Tjiptadi, said the construction work would affect the flow of vehicles, so the company would cooperate with the Soekarno-Hatta police to limit Jl. Perimeter Utara to one-way traffic from Tuesday on.
'This one-way policy will alternate for road users. The schedule can be adjusted with the situation and conditions,' he said in a statement on Monday.
Jl. Perimeter Utara will be closed to motorists heading to Tangerang from midnight until 12 p.m. The street will be closed to motorists heading to the airport or Jakarta from 12 p.m. until midnight.
Road users have been urged to follow traffic signs during the road construction. The company, however, has not specified when the repair work is expected to be complete.
