C

ity councilors have asked that Governor Basuki '€œAhok'€ Tjahaja Purnama'€™s Ahok Center be audited.

The Ahok Center is an organization set up by Ahok several years ago when he was a lawmaker of the House of Representatives with the Golkar Party. Councilor Sanusi of the Gerindra Party said many corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects for the city administration were managed by the Ahok Center.

'€œMany CSR programs valued at billions of rupiah are managed by the Ahok Center without undergoing scrutiny by city administration'€™s working units. This needs to be audited,'€ Sanusi said as quoted by kompas.com.

Sanusi added that the Ahok Center would not receive CSR if Ahok wasn'€™t governor. He said the organization must be audited and that CSR programs must be managed by the city administration.
