High-ranking government officials said on Wednesday that no executions of drug convicts would take place in the next few months, as the country's judiciary was still processing their appeals and case reviews. Attorney General M. Prasetyo said that although all preparations for the drug convicts' executions had been completed, prosecutors were still waiting for the final verdicts on their appeals.

It is interesting that their relationship with Australia has deteriorated so far.
Personally though with all the bad publicity, I can remember how Australian families were talking about their wonderful affordable holidays in Bali.
And now there isn't that much publicity on this topic. Word of mouth is always the best advert.
Any
How about no more executions for anyone, ever?

From the accompanying graphic, it would seem that Indonesia has four times as many drug criminals on death row in other countries as there are foreign drug criminals in Indonesia on death row.
Given this adverse 4:1 ratio against Indonesia, there would seem to be every reason for Indonesia adopting a softly, softly approach rather than its current execution approach to dealing with drug criminals.
And it would seem that Indonesia has cherry-picked the current 10 to be executed to avoid nationals from countries with Indonesians on death row.
However with the next batch this may not be so easy!
