Actress Zee Zee Shahab says that the motherhood theme of the upcoming movie Ada Surga di Rumahmu (There is Heaven in Your Home) attracted her to take part in the religious drama.
The movie, based on a novel by Ustadz Alhabsyi, is directed by Aditya Gumay and is due to be released next month.
'When Mas Adit [the director] offered the role, he told me that it is about a mother. I am a mother and there are a lot of messages that I can take from the movie,' the 26-year-old, who had her first son in 2012, told kapanlagi.com recently.
The movie is centered on a young man, Ramadhan, who makes troubles while studying in an Islamic boarding school, not realizing that his parents have sacrificed so much to provide him education.
