Ivan Kurniawan Arifin is the third known member of the venerable local rock band Slank to give up smoking ' thanks to a little help from his friends and family.
'The support that I've recevied to quit smoking isn't only coming from friends, but also from my children,' Ivan, the band's bass guitarist, said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
'But, you know, we really need to have that strong will to quit the habit,' the 41-year-old said.
Ivan joins Slank's Kaka and Bimbim in giving up smoking in recent months, although Ivan adds that fellow members Ridho and Abdee ' as well as manager Bunda Iffet ' never get tired of motivating him.
