ational Police'€™s anti-terror squad Densus 88 and West Manggarai Police have arrested suspected terrorist Safrudin, 24, believed to be a member of the Santoso terrorist network, on Saturday evening in Labuan Bajo, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

NTT Police spokesperson Adj. Sr. Comr. Agus Santosa said Safrudin, of Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), was arrested on Jl. Trans Flores, in Rangga Watu, Mbeliling district, West Manggarai regency.

Agus said Safrudin was on the run aboard a mini bus heading to West Manggarai when police arrested him.

'€œThe suspected terrorist is strongly believed to be the perpetrator of the shooting of Ambalawi Police chief Abdul Salam on Aug. 16, 2014,'€ Agus said.
