Film director Kamila Andini admits that she is not a technologically savvy person. Therefore, she prefers to choose one brand for her gadgets so she can understand everything in one single shot.
'I am pretty bad in technology, so every gadget that I have must have the same operating system, so it is easier for me to learn how to operate it,' said the daughter of prominent filmmaker Garin Nugroho.
So far, her choice falls on Apple products.
The woman, who is known by the nickname Dini, is the type of user who does not like to change gadgets easily.
'When it comes to gadgets, it takes me some time before I can change to new models,' the 28-year-old admitted.
Dini, who started her directorial debut in 2011 with Mirror Never Lies, said that her life changed slightly after she had a daughter.
Dini married fellow director Ifa Isfansyah in 2012 and they have one daughter named Rintik Asa Kalani.
Dini said she dedicated all her time to Rintik, and preferred reading books to playing with gadgets when she was with her daughter.
Apart from spending her time with Rintik, Dini is preparing for her next feature, Sekala Niskala (The Seen and Unseen), for which the director was awarded a residency by the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. She plans to begin filming by the end of the year on Bali with a release scheduled for next year.

I am very loyal to Apple because of my limited
knowledge of gadgets. This is my first smartphone from Apple and I have
never changed it yet. I use this smartphone mainly for communication,
social media and the camera. I don't have any special application
because I am not really up to date about those kinds of things.
Macbook Air
I don't change laptops easily; so far, I have had only two laptops, both from Apple. I am using an 11-inch Macbook Air 2012 for work. Before that, I used the older model, the square white iBook, and it is still working until now. I started using laptops when I was in college and so far I only have had two laptops ' the Macbook Air and the iBook.
Canon G11
I always use Canon for my camera. I started using this brand when I was in high school, before digital cameras were a thing. I carry this camera for traveling and working. For work-related stuff, I use the camera for location hunting and casting. I also take this camera when I go diving. I like this type because of its compact size and the camera is far lighter compared to a DSLR.
