The executions of 10 death row inmates looks imminent after they were placed on isolation cells on the Nusakambangan prison island, a lawyer for one of the convicts said on Saturday.

"The meeting informed us and the families and foreign representatives that the death row convicts have been placed in isolation cells," said Utomo Karim, a lawyer for Nigerian Raheem Agbaje Salami.

Utomo was speaking after an approximately 30-minute meeting at the Cilacap Prosecutor's Office he and others attended before crossing to Nusakambangan. "There will be another meeting on the island," he said.

When asked when the executions were to be carried out, Utomo said they usually happened three days after the notification.

Also attending the meeting were Brazilian consul Leonardo Carvalho Monteiro, Australian consul general in Bali, Majel Hind, and lawyer Julian McMahon who represents two members of the Bali Nine drug ring, Australians Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.

Meanwhile, an attorney from the Philippines, Edre Olalia, who represents Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso, said he would fight all-out to save Veloso.

Olalia said that Veloso's lawyers had filed for a second case review on Friday with the Sleman District Court in Yogyakarta.

Also visiting were members of Veloso's family, consisting of her parents, two children and sister.

Other inmates slated to be executed in the near future are Zainal Abidin (from Indonesia), Serge Areski Atlaoui (France), Rodrigo Gularte (Brazil), Silvester Obiekwe Nwaolise alias Mustofa and Okwudili Oyatanze (Nigeria) and Martin Anderson alias Belo (Ghana).

In addition, Australians Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, who were members of the so-called Bali Nine drug trafficking group, Nigerians Raheem Agbaje Salami, Okwudili Oyatanze and Sylvester Obiekwe Nwolise alias Mustofa, Frenchman Serge Areski Atlaoui, Brazilian Rodrigo Gularte and Ghanaian Martin Anderson alias Belo are being readied for execution.
