Pop diva Krisdayanti and singer-turned-lawmaker Anang Hermansyah were known for their chart-topping duet songs in the 1990s. Since their divorce, Krisdayanti has found new duet partners to accompany her in an upcoming solo concert.
'I will definitely perform the duet hits. Back then, I sang them with my ex. Guess who is going to perform a duet with me? The answer is clearly not him [Anang],' she teased journalists during a press conference in Jakarta on Friday, as quoted by kompas.com.
Taking place in Plenary Hall at the Jakarta Convention Center on May 3, the concert titled Traya will feature Krisdayanti and her best friends, including singer Ari Lasso, Bob Tutupoli and Chakra Khan.
Krisdayanti, who initiated the concert along with composer Erwin Gutawa and artistic director Jay Subiyakto, will present 30 songs with a mixture of traditional and orchestral music.
