he government of Brazil will review its relations with Indonesia following the execution of Brazilian convict Rodrigo Gularte in Central Java early on Wednesday.
An official statement released by the government stated that Indonesia was "not sensitive to the humanitarian plea filed by President [Dilma] Rousseff," kompas.com reported on Wednesday.
Gularte, who was executed with seven other convicts, was the second Brazilian executed by the Indonesian government.
Brasilia recalled its ambassador in Jakarta after the execution of Marco Archer Cardoso Moreira in January and has no plan to send the ambassador back to Indonesia.
"As we have not received a satisfying response to our plea, we are evaluating relations with Indonesia," Brazilian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergio Franca Danese said.(+++)
