akarta Tax Agency head Agus Bambang Setyowidodo revealed that out of about 860 civil servants in the agency, only about 60 percent were productive.
Agus said that the remaining were unproductive and lacked good work ethics. He said that the agency's supervision team had thus far this year even found that two civil servants were collecting illegal levies from taxpayers.
"This year alone we have recommended the demotion of two civil servants. Both are echelon III officials. One has officially been demoted and we are still processing the other," Agus said. (++++)
