he Communications and Information Ministry announced on Tuesday that around 800,000 websites containing pornographic content had been blocked.
Although hundreds of thousands of websites containing pornographic content have been blocked, there is still a rampant increase in the number of adult content websites on the internet, Communications and Information Minister Rudiantara said on Tuesday.
"If we block 100 websites today, tomorrow some 200 other new websites will crop up," Rudiantara said as quoted by Antara news agency.
The minister noted that the society can participate in the government's program to block pornographic content by reporting websites containing such content. (hhr)
