Rocker Dian Dipa Chandra, better known as Candil, says he's a big fan of the late Bangun 'Gito Rollies' Sugito, one of the nation's top rockers from the 1970s to the 1990s.
The 40-year-old singer and actor said that he met his idol when he was a high school student.
'[Gito] was a charismatic rocker, and I was a bit nervous to say hi to him ' when, in fact, he was a humble person,' Candil, previously the vocalist for the rock band Serieus, said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Candil said that he eventually spoke to the rock star ' and asked Gito to sign his underwear.
Gito's response?
'He said, 'You're crazy, man!' Candil said.
