Marissa Nasution says that she'll be playing the 'straight woman' to funny men in the upcoming action comedy film Epen Cupen.
'I'm not a funny person,' the 29-year-old presenter said on Monday, as quoted by kapanlagi.com. 'Although this film is in the comedy genre, not necessarily all the cast are comedians. My character, Stella, is a serious person.'
'This film has a unique sense of humor, with a different style and language compared to other comedy films,' Marissa said.
Epen Cupen, directed by Irham Acho Ba htiar, features a story focused on the cultures of Papua.
In the movie, which is slated for release on Wednesday, Marissa will share the screen with comedian Babe Cabita and Papuan actor Klemen 'Celo' Awi.
