'€œWe did not determine the Indonesian victory, we just wanted to play and we won,'€ said Greysia on Friday as quoted by Antara news agency.

The duo win complemented the victories of men'€™s doubles Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan who defeated Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin 21-17, 21-18 and men's singles Jonatan Christie who beat Hsu Jen Hao 21-12, 13-21, 21-16.

Taiwan gained one point with women's singles Tai Tzu Ying, who walked away with a victory against Indonesian Bellaetrix Manuputty 21-17, 21-17.

When asked about the semifinal round against China, the Indonesian doubles just promised to give it their best shot.

'€œThey all are above us [in rank]. But we will play as best as we can. Hopefully there is a way,'€ said Nitya.

China previously won against Indonesia 2-3 in the quarterfinals of the 2013 Sudirman Cup. (fsu/nvn)(++++)
