police officer allegedly shot himself in the head after arguing with his girlfriend at the latter's rented house in the Citra 2 housing complex, Kalideres, West Jakarta on Friday night.
Kalideres Police criminal investigation unit chief Adj. Comr. Khoiri said on Saturday that Brig. Wahyudi, 29, shot himself in his head not long after meeting his girlfriend.
"[According to his girlfriend] Wahyudi had often tried to shoot himself after quarreling with his girlfriend," Khoiri said as quoted by tempo.co.
Khoiri added that the police were still investigating the case.
Wahyudi was an officer of the Central Jakarta Police.(++++)
