Drivers of public transportation vehicles will be required to pass urine tests before they are allowed to transport passengers to other cities
rivers of public transportation vehicles will be required to pass urine tests before they are allowed to transport passengers to other cities. The move is part of a series of safety measures aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers traveling home ahead of the Idul Fitri holiday in July.
West Jakarta Kalideres Terminal administration staff member Iwan Rukiyadi said Friday that the tests were compulsory. 'The urine tests will be carried out by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN),' he said as quoted by kompas.com.
Drivers who pass will receive a letter stating as such, and will be allowed to transport passengers.
