resident Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is slated to meet the newly established Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) selection committee, which consists of nine female experts, on Monday.
'It would be in the afternoon or in the evening,' Jokowi said in Jakarta on Saturday as quoted by Antara news agency.
Jokowi also maintained his firm belief in the integrity of the team members to select the new KPK commissioners who will serve during the 2015 to 2020 term.
The President announced the nine members, whose backgrounds ranged from law, economics and management to psychology, sociology and governance studies, on Thursday.
Among the members named were money laundering expert Yenti Garnasih, the head of the National Law Development Agency Enny Nurbaningsih and transparency activist Natalia Subagyo. (fsu)(++++)
