T

Arief said the number of Mideast visitors to the country had increased significantly. Last year, the number of visitors from the Middle East increased by 26 percent to 170,000, he said.

He said generally visitors from the Middle East came in family groups and stayed relatively longer than other tourists.

"They are also generous, spending from US$1,400 to $1,700 per visit per person as against around $1,140 per visit each by visitors from other regions," Arief said as quoted by Antara news agency.
