Stepmother arrested in Angeline'€™s murder

he Denpasar Police arrested Margareith Megawe on Wednesday noon in a murder case involving her stepdaughter, Angeline, whose remains were found at the back of their house.

The arrest was carried out after the police found the body of the 8-year-old girl, who had been missing for two months.

'€œWe arrested Margareith near the Lotte Mart at the Ngurah Rai Bypass with her daughter Christine. We nabbed her at around 12 p.m. local time,'€ Denpasar Police chief Sr. Comr. Anak Agung Made Sudana said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

The police have also arrested Margareith'€™s children '€“ Christine and Ivon '€“ as well as two other people, who rent space in the house and a security officer.

'€œWe will interrogate them for 24 hours. We will see how it goes,'€ Sudana said. (ika)(++++)
