he Denpasar Police arrested Margareith Megawe on Wednesday noon in a murder case involving her stepdaughter, Angeline, whose remains were found at the back of their house.
The arrest was carried out after the police found the body of the 8-year-old girl, who had been missing for two months.
'We arrested Margareith near the Lotte Mart at the Ngurah Rai Bypass with her daughter Christine. We nabbed her at around 12 p.m. local time,' Denpasar Police chief Sr. Comr. Anak Agung Made Sudana said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The police have also arrested Margareith's children ' Christine and Ivon ' as well as two other people, who rent space in the house and a security officer.
'We will interrogate them for 24 hours. We will see how it goes,' Sudana said. (ika)(++++)
