American rock band Bon Jovi plans to hold a concert in Jakarta this year.
This concert, which is scheduled to be held at the Bung Karno main stadium, will be the first visit paid to Indonesia by the band since it performed in Ancol, North Jakarta, in 1995.
Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi announced the plan on his official Twitter account. "After 25 years, we're excited to return to Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 11! #BonJoviJakarta @LiveNationINDO BonJovi.com/Tour" he tweeted on Thursday, referring to promoter Live Nation Indonesia.
Jakarta is the first city on the band's tour of Asia.
After the Jakarta concert, the band will perform a post-race concert on the last day of the Singapore Grand Prix on Sept 20. (dmr)(+++)
