Indonesia will become the host of France's popular reality show, Raid Amazone, in October this year.
The program -- which is another version of the US travel show Amazing Race, except that all contestants are women -- will take place in Bali.
'For French people, Bali is very popular and many of them want to go there,' a representative of the show, Alexandre Debanne, said in Jakarta as quoted by kompas.com on Tuesday.
Debanne added that the show that would cover the various themes of ecotourism, culture and sports and would explore everything about Indonesia in the competition.
'We explore the nation, the people, the traditions, the beliefs and the food,' he said.
The race has been organized since 2001 in different countries, including Sri Lanka, Kenya, Malaysia and Cambodia. The all-female contestants will compete in different sports competitions, like running, swimming and archery. (ika)(+++)
