As many as 700 illegal cars that operate in the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, will be granted licenses in the near future, airport officials said on Thursday.

'€œWe will propose the registering of those cars to the Transportation Ministry'€™s land transportation directorate General,'€ Zulfahmi, senior general manager at the airport, said as quoted by

Your comments:

It is for me always mind boggling how illegal cars are able to drive around, and when confronted with the fact that they are illegal, start a demonstration, blocking access roads (and with it of course bothering customers) and '€” surprise '€” in the end they get what they want despite those aggressive actions and illegal behavior.

Certainly someone with influence is standing behind the drivers (who of course are not the owners) of those illegal cars.

It is a combination that no one here has the balls to truly enforce the law, which would be the obvious way, and a pinch of '€œwe-need-to-find-a-happy-solution-so-that-we-all-can-smile-at-the-end'€ brain damage, gives you carte blanche to do whatever you want.
