State-Owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno has denied Home Minister Tjahjo Kumolo'€™s accusation that a minister made a statement insulting President Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo.

A recording of the statement has been spreading publicly and was presented to the President.

Your comments:

Jokowi should be thankful to those who dare to criticize him as President, rather than receive praise from his men or aides. There are many people around Jokowi who have an ambition to topple anybody in order to hold a position, judging by the many comments that have screwed up everything in the last few days.

I know it'€™s not ethical to say to friends utterances such as: It is not clear that the President knows precisely what my task is. The President doesn'€™t know anything.  I don'€™t think this is intended to

discredit and insult the President, but I suggest that Pak Jokowi be wise in interpreting such utterances by his ministers and show us, the people, that he is a model of the mental revolution to revolutionize the mentality of our people.

I don'€™t think the minister looks down upon the President. Such utterances are commonly heard when light conversations take place. In the past there was a legislature members who looked down on Joko by saying, '€œNuts to him,'€ and what was Jokowi'€™s reaction? It didn'€™t matter.

This is not doing any good to Indonesia at all.
