MyGadget: Lex dePraxis: Gadgets for clients' needs

In a highly connected world, people often find difficulty in finding love and romance. To cater to this need, Lex dePraxis founded an online romance education course called Hitman System back in 2006.

From only educating guys, Lex expanded his brand to also include a course on women called Lovable Lady in 2010 and finally in 2013, founded kelascinta.com as a one-stop romance solution for both males and females.

Lex'€™s early embrace of technology has made him the number-one online romance guru on the Indonesian Internet scene and to keep up with his coaching and clients he relies on several gadgets and applications.

Gadgets

For primary gadgets, I still use my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 because of its perfect size for my daily needs for communicating and reading. It also has a very functional stylus pen, which is very crucial for me because I need to take a lot of notes and make diagrams. I also use an Asus X201E, which is very light and compact. For secondary gadgets, I use a Nokia E72. It is an old-school phone that has a long-lasting battery and therefore it helps me a lot for phone counseling. I also use a Samsung Galaxy Tab for presentations.

Apps

I use Tweetings, which I believe is the best Android Twitter client but for some reason, it is very underrated. In terms of aesthetics, it is very elegant and minimalist because there is not a single button on its interface. You can also minimalize the layout and it has a transparent theme so you can see through your gadget wallpaper. Function wise, you can edit your tweets directly with this app and it has a bunch of other customizations. The developer of this app also constantly updates it at least four times a month.

I also use Pushbullet. This app is a simple tool that we might think we do not need until we give it a try. Pushbullet sends pictures, texts and links from one gadget to another. We usually do this by using Bluetooth. However, if we use Bluetooth, we need to turn it on and off. Pushbullet uses the Internet connection so everything can be done with only one click. Pushbullet also displays notifications from my handphone on my notebook monitor and it even allows me to send SMS directly from my notebook. It might not seem much, but if you use it for several days, you will be hooked on it.
