According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in East Java, Raung's volcanic ashes were moving from southeast to south at 8 a.m. with the closest distance to the airport being 18 kilometers, as reported by tribunnews.com.
Currently the state-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura I is holding a meeting to decide on the next step. (kes)(+++)
