Guess what?: Mike Lewis waits tables at own diner

Kapanlagi.com

Model and actor Mike Lewis has a hands-on approach to his own restaurant, including waiting tables.

'€œMany people question why I wait tables, take out plates. It puzzles the diners. The restaurant manager also asked me not to, but I want to do that as a service for the customers so they won'€™t forget the place,'€ he was quoted as saying by kapanlagi.com on Thursday.

The 33-year-old said the restaurant was his investment for the future. '€œI have learned that investing your money in business is better than in cars or hobbies. We don'€™t know what will happen in the entertainment industry, so we have to invest a bit to survive.'€

Mike, who has a son from his former marriage to actress Tamara Bleszynski, is best known for his roles in Made in Bali (2014), Dead Mine (2012) and horror flick Suster Ngesot (The Ghost Nurse, 2007).

Mike said he wanted to interact better with his employees by helping them with the job. '€œI have nothing to brag or to complain about by waiting tables. This restaurant is my place and everyone is equal. We are one family.'€
