Designer Anniesa Hasibuan plans to woo New York fashion lovers with 15 of her Islamic fashion designs at the 2015 Couture New York Fashion Week.

For the show, scheduled for Sept. 12, she made '€œSasikirana'€ the theme of her collection.

'€œIn Sanskrit, Sasikirana means moonlight, in accordance with my designs that feature elements of gold,'€ she said on Saturday.

The show will mark another step in her fashion career after showcasing her designs at the Kaftan Fashion festival and Hello Indonesia festival in London this year.

For her upcoming show, the 28-year-old also applied Central Java'€™s batik prada (batik with gold thread) to her creations.

She said the gold thread in the batik would provide touches of elegance and glamour to her designs.
