he Bekasi Police are continuing their investigation into the murder of Ujang, better known as Selvi, a 30-year-old transvestite found dead with several stab wounds.
Bekasi Police spokesman First Inspector Makmur said on Thursday that the police were still investigating the crime scene and had questioned six witnesses, including Selvi's friends. 'We have yet to determine the motive for the murder,' Makmur said.
The corpse of Ujang, a resident of Cikarang Kota in Bekasi regency, was found with 13 stab wounds on an empty plot of land in Bumi Asih, North Cikarang, on Wednesday.
Two residents found her body and reported the finding to the North Cikarang Police office. The body was taken to Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta for an autopsy.
