Young Indonesian-American actress Cassandra Lee is learning to speak in a natural Indonesian accent for her upcoming role as a village girl in the action movie Tiger Boy.

'€œFor two weeks, I practiced Indonesian with my mom so that I could do the accent,'€ the 14-year-old actress said as quoted by kompas.com at the movie'€™s promotional event at Jakarta Comic Con.

Apart from practicing at home, the actress of soap opera Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala (Handsome Wolves) also took a private course to learn the Betawi language of the Jakarta area.

Cassandra said she was glad to finally be able to show her acting skills on the big screen.

'€œActing in a movie is more natural compared to soap opera. In the movie, I got the chance to work alongside and learn from senior actors.'€
