Music, food and film are words that best describe the activities of radio announcer Ario Astungkoro.
As a Hardrock FM announcer, Ario plays chart-topping hits on his nine to Midnight Request program and also shares his latest discovery of great eateries on his show Foodgasm. Under the banner of his newly-established company Good Work, Ario generates and manages publicity for a number of movies.
Additionally, Ario hosts several televised music shows and entertainment news programs.
Ario counts on his two smartphones, a Samsung and an iPhone, to get his jobs done.
'I prefer gadgets that are simple, user-friendly and have complete features,' he said.
'As a radio announcer, I intensively use social media, and as film publicist, I must stay connected to my overseas clients at all time through email correspondence. Both phones enable me to do all these tasks.'
He regularly writes restaurant reviews on the Foodgasm page of the Hardrock FM website and posts images of sumptuous meals to his Instagram account.
'On social media, I'm also the ambassador and endorser for several products,' he added.
The pictures posted on his social media account are created using his old Nikon DSLR camera. Ario swapped the camera's memory card with a Wi-Fi SD card to enable him to instantly transfer and edit the photos on his smartphones.
'I have used it since my college days. It turns out that old camera can be modernized by upgrading some of its spare parts.'

Photos, food and news apps
I love to capture every moment. For that, I use photo-editing apps VSCOcam and PS Express. I also use music recognition app SoundHound, Instagram, restaurant finder Zomato and last but not least, social news magazine Flipboard to catch up on the news that I care about.
Samsung S6 Edge
I use a Samsung S6 Edge for email correspondence, making calls and browsing. It enables me to integrate my three email accounts and send each email using the desired account. Such a feature is not provided on iPhones, where I can only send emails using the primary email account.
I also use the Android-based phone to open and edit certain documents in formats that cannot be accessed through iPhone.
iPhone 5S
I count on an Android-based phone for work and rely on an iPhone for my social media activities. The main reason for that is that I love editing photos and there are many cool photo-editing apps operated on iOS.
