After her debut in Hollywood, director Livi Zheng is planning to make her next movie in Indonesia.
'I've always wanted to make a film in Indonesia. And I plan to shoot my fourth film here,' Livi said, as quoted by Antara news agency.
She said she had asked her executive producer and cameramen to survey locations in the archipelago for the movie.
'We've checked several locations, but we can't make a decision just yet, because choosing the right location for shooting usually takes a while,' said the 26-year-old winner of the 2015 Diaspora Creative Award.
Livi said that after the success of her action thriller Brush With Danger in the US, the film would be screened in Indonesia starting Nov. 26, while her second movie would be released early next year.
Brush with Danger tells the story of two illegal Asian immigrants in the US who are trying to make ends meet as street artists.
