An exhibition titled 'Air France ' France is in the Air' will allow visitors in Jakarta to experience Air France's La Première (first-class) and business-class seats. The exhibition will be held at Art:1 Gallery in Kemayoran, Jakarta, for two days from Nov. 14 to 15.
At the exhibition, visitors will be able to take a peek at the La Première and business-class suites and enjoy the luxurious experience offered by them. The La Première suites provide passengers with total comfort and privacy and exceptional in-flight service.
The 32-square-foot La Première suite features seats covered with tweed fabrics with leather headrests emblazoned with Air France's winged seahorse logo. To ensure passengers a private, relaxing sleep, seats are adjustable and can be reconfigured into 79-inch-long flat beds with fully retractable armrests for extra space. Special bedding by Sofitel is included to take the flying experience to another level, mimicking the comfort of a luxurious hotel bed.
A 24-inch high-definition screen allows passengers to enjoy a full range of entertainment options at any time. Selections from a gourmet menu by Michelin-starred French chefs such as Joël Robuchon, Guy Martin and Michel Roth will be served on tableware designed by Jean-Marie Massaud and Bernardaud and cutlery from the house of Christofle.
Onboard Air France's Boeing 777-300, serving Jakarta-Paris via Singapore daily, are four individual La Première suites and 58 business-class seats.
'This exhibition serves as proof of how important the Indonesian market is for Air France-KLM Group,' said Gijs van Popta, general manager of Air France-KLM for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei at a media gathering in Jakarta on Thursday.
Gijs hopes that the growing international-travel market in Indonesia will soon experience the luxury of France by flying with Air France. (dan)(+)
