The Pontianak Customs and Excise Office in West Kalimantan has destroyed Rp 125 million (US$8,910) worth of illegally imported sex toys and pornographic DVDs confiscated by the government between 2012 and 2014.

Office head Noer Rusyidi said on Wednesday that the haul included 24 sex toys, 743 pornographic DVDs, 930 palm kernel expellers, one airsoft gun, eight bottles of alcoholic beverages, one spy camera and hundreds of illegal pills.

'€œWe have destroyed these products with the approval of the State Treasury Agency and the Pontianak Auction Office on behalf of the finance minister,'€ he said as quoted by kompas.com.

All these guys have subscriptions to Indonesian magazine Popular.

The time delay between confiscating and destroying these naughty items is understandable. It takes a lot of time to view and review all of that porn.

The bouquet of flowers on the table is a nice touch.

Randomthought

The items (sex toys) had been confiscated. They were classified as dangerous.

AnimisticGod

Darn it, no more sex toys for fun? Can we still get flavored condoms, please.

Passingthru101

This is pathetic. Just curious: Who brought all this into the country? No names? This '€œhaul'€ is about one-ten-thousandth of what actually gets brought in.

CJ

So what about those thousands of phalluses in tourist shops in Bali. They are not all art, right?

The Pitch

No bulletproof vests and submachine guns this time?

Kantisini

They should also confiscate carrots, bananas and cucumbers.

Rendang

Having laws against sex toys is ridiculous. It doesn'€™t have any effect on the youth. They were more then likely ordered by the wives of these super politicians and police.

Spy camera? What law is that? Don'€™t you need to use it illegally before it can be confiscated? Palm kernel expellers? Is that like a Pez Dispenser.

Simaging

That'€™s an average of $3,000 per year for three years. What morons these '€œbanana eaters'€ are.

Spend your time being productive with your local people so they can improve their lifestyles and incomes.

Goneasia

Using palm kernel expellers as sex toys? Sounds like some pretty voyeuristic stuff goes on in Kalimantan. It must be all that smoke!

Bohong-Bohong

Two years and that'€™s all that was confiscated? Or more like, that'€™s all customs reported with most ending up in their homes or sold in their warong.
