joint team from the Denpasar Customs and Excise Office and the Bali Police has arrested a Dutch national, Djai Heijn, for the alleged possession of 224 grams of marijuana.
Denpasar Custom and Excise Office head Mohamad Saptari told a press conference on Tuesday that Heijn, 25, was arrested soon after taking receipt of a package containing the drug sent by mail from Spain on Jan. 11.
'He took receipt of the drug that was sent by mail from Spain,' Saptari said.
Bali Police investigator Joni Lay said Heijn initially denied knowing that the package contain drugs. 'But later on, he admitted that it had been sent by a friend as a Christmas present,' Joni explained.
