Two Bali hotels make Tripadvisor Asia top-10

Two Bali hotels are among the top-10 properties in Asia recognized by Tripadvisor travelers worldwide.
Both located in Ubud, Wapa di Ume Resort and Spa and Komaneka at Bisma claimed the seventh and 10th spots, respectively, based on thousands of reviews and opinions collected throughout 2015.
With an average room rate of Rp 3 million (US$215) per night, Wapa di Ume is a boutique resort perched over Ubud's picturesque rice terraces. In addition to being a cozy retreat, the resort also features Balinese cooking classes and yoga sessions.
Meanwhile, nestled in the heart of a tropical rain forest, the 5-hectare Komaneka at Bisma boasts outdoor pools and a wellness spa with an average room rate of Rp 5 million per night. "Location is superb as it is within walking distance to town but set on large, beautifully landscaped grounds with stunning views of the valley and river. Lovely to return to the tranquility and excellent Balinese hospitality of the resort after being out in town," said a Tripadvisor reviewer.
Tripadvisor also revealed the top-10 hotels in Indonesia, which were dominated by eight Bali properties with two establishments, one each in Central Java and West Nusa Tenggara, claiming ninth and 10th spots.
Now in its 14th year, the Travelers' Choice awards is said to recognize over 7,000 properties around the globe based on service, quality and value, with lists covering 97 countries and eight regions. (kes) (+)
