ctress Atiqah Hasiholan gets physical in her preparation as the star of Wonderful Life, a film about a single parent of a son with dyslexia.
An adaptation of a self-improvement book of the same title authored by Amalia Prabowo, some of the scenes take place on a mountain.
'I never hike on mountains, so I have to prepare for that. Shooting outdoor scenes can be exhausting, but it will be harder on the mountain,' she said as reported by Kapanlagi.com on Thursday.
Besides the extra exertion, Atiqah is working hard to bring the character to life.
'I don't have a child, let alone know what's it's like to be a single parent, so I have many things to learn at once. It's an advantage that I studied psychology, so I can understand the character.'
Atiqah's real-life husband, actor Rio Dewanto, is the producer of the film.
