T

he Jakarta Prosecutor'€™s Office plans to return the dossier of Jessica Kumala Wongso, who has been charged with the premeditated murder of Wayan Mirna Salihin, to the Jakarta Police because it has found it to be incomplete.

'€œ[The prosecutor'€™s office] issued a P-18 form regarding Jessica'€™s case. After this, we will issue a P-19 form,'€ said the office'€™s spokesman Waluyo.

The P-18 form would indicate that the prosecutors found the dossier incomplete, while the P-19 is a form that requests the police to complete the dossier.

Previously, office head Sudung Situmorang said that prosecutors would not proceed with the case if the police failed to provide at least two pieces of evidence showing Jessica'€™s involvement in premeditated murder, as they have charged.

Moreover, he added, the investigators had yet to provide material evidence showing the chronology of the cyanide being put into Mirna'€™s coffee, or the poison'€™s owner.

Currently, Jessica is filing for a pretrial hearing with the Central Jakarta District Court to challenge her suspect status, which she said does not have a strong basis.

The court is expected to determine her fate on March 2.
