Your letters: Faith in one God

I

'€™m replying to the Feb. 18, front-page article about the '€œfirst Confucian'€ and the editorial, '€œStop provoking stigma'€, reminding the nation that it is based on Pancasila values, including faith in one God.

Though considered religions, Buddhism and Confucianism do not adhere to the notion of worshipping a deity.

And, in the WSJ Europe, Jan. 11 edition Stephen Prothero asked: Are Allah and Jesus the same God? Chip Field (Dallas) replied: The two divinities say they are different; the letter quotes from the Koran and the Bible.

I have a hunch that'€™s why Wahhabi Islam wants other religions to leave Indonesia.
