Welders cut through the framework of the Kalibata Bridge that spans the Ciliwung River in Kalibata, South Jakarta, on Thursday. The old 50-meter bridge that connects Kalibata and East Jakartaâs Cililitan is being demolished because an overpass has been in place since 2011 and a massive amount of trash was often found stuck under the bridge where it hampered the water flow, worsening floods in the area.(JP/PJ Leo) (JP/PJ Leo)
